Registration terms

You must be at least 18 years old to take part in our courses. If you have not yet reached the age of majority when you register, the contract will be signed by your parent or legal guardian.

A2 is the minimum French level required to take part in language stays that include French lessons and excursions accompanied by a teacher.

Naturellement Français is located in an old winegrower's house with narrow staircases. As accessibility works would be manifestly disproportionate to the structure of the building, the school is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

To register, send us an information request or a pre-registration form by email, stating the dates you would like to come and the programme you want.

On receipt, we will let you know about the availability of the course and, where applicable, send you a quote for your stay.

Once you have accepted the quote and paid the deposit, your registration is confirmed.

The deposit: a first payment must reach Naturellement Français within 7 days of your acceptance of the quote.

If the deposit is not received within that time, we can no longer guarantee the availability of the requested course.

Your registration becomes definitive once the deposit is received. The contract is then deemed concluded.

The balance: the balance is due no later than the first day of your stay.

Payment methods: bank transfer, cash or a cheque drawn on a French bank.

All bank fees related to your payment are entirely at your expense.

If you cancel, the deposit paid will not be refunded and the balance of the stay will be due. Please take out insurance, or check with your bank or insurer what cover you already have.

If Naturellement Français has to cancel due to force majeure, your deposit will be refunded in full or your stay will be postponed to a later date, if you wish.

No refund or postponement of lessons will be granted in case of absence once the course has started.

Before your arrival

We will talk to analyse your request precisely. Your level is determined, according to the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), through telephone and email exchanges. A programme is then created and adapted to your needs, your learning pace and your interests.

The programme is designed to meet your needs and, where applicable, those of the group. The choice of workshops and excursions should therefore be reached by consensus.

During your stay

A new session starts every Monday. Public holidays falling in your course week will be worked, except for 1 January and 25 December, which will be days off and will not be made up. The schedules shown in the "courses" section may vary depending on how the programme is organised, but the number of hours is guaranteed. Outdoor activities may be turned into educational workshops because of the weather. The programme is then adapted accordingly.

From Monday morning on the day of your arrival, once your level has been assessed, we can start the programme. Throughout your stay, you receive advice and strategies to improve your level and reach your goals.

At the end of your stay

We give you a certificate stating the level reached in each skill, the length of the course and the training followed. We give you useful advice to continue your learning independently and maintain your level.

The number of participants is limited to 3 learners.

Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa for your stay in France. Before starting any registration and payment procedure, you are required to find out about the visa requirements and to complete all the necessary steps with the competent authorities. To take part in the courses, you must be legally resident in France.

We also strongly recommend that you take out insurance covering the length of your stay in France, to keep risks to a minimum: medical expenses (illness, hospitalisation, repatriation), civil liability (damage caused to a third party), accident and theft. Naturellement Français cannot under any circumstances be held liable for losses, damage or harm caused or suffered by the participant to persons or property, whatever the cause.

Schengen short-stay visa

Plan to start your application about 2 months before your course start date.

Who needs it?

• Foreign nationals who are not citizens of a European Union member state, of the Schengen area, of the European Economic Area (EEA) or of Switzerland;
• Foreign nationals who are not exempt from a short-stay visa.

Conditions relating to your stay

You wish to take a short French language course at our school.

Your stay must not exceed 90 days. With us, a stay lasts two weeks on average.

Where do you have to apply?

Submit your visa application at the French Embassy or Consulates of the country where you live.

Which documents are required?

Your passport must be valid, and its validity must extend at least 3 months beyond the expiry date of your short-stay visa.

To put your application together, you may be asked for documents such as proof of your means of support, repatriation guarantees, insurance, accommodation arrangements, etc.

The consulate will ask you for a pre-registration certificate.

To support you with your application, once we have received the deposit in our bank account, we will send you the original of your pre-registration certificate by post.

Naturellement Français cannot guarantee that you will obtain your visa. If your visa application is refused, no refund is possible. The deposit is considered a non-refundable administrative fee. Accommodation will be refunded according to the service provider's conditions.

If the date on which you obtain your visa is later than expected, it is possible, exceptionally, to postpone your course, depending on our availability and on presentation of supporting documents.

Long-stay visa for studies

The long-stay visa is for foreign students who wish to study for a degree in France and who are accepted at a higher-education institution for more than 3 months.

Naturellement Français does not offer this type of stay, so we will not be able to assist you with your application.

Naturellement Français reserves the right to take and use photos or videos of the participant for promotional purposes (brochures, website publications, catalogue, etc.) unless the participant objects. Any objection must be stated at the time of registration.
