French Courses for Seniors: It's Never Too Late to Learn

There's no age limit to learning or improving your French. Our courses for seniors and adults aged 50 and over adapt to whatever pace of life suits you.

Who Are Our French Courses for Adults 50+ For?

This course is for anyone aged 50 or over who wants to dedicate time to a language and cultural project, whether that means making a fresh start during a sabbatical year, enjoying an active holiday that combines learning with cultural discovery, or making the most of a new stage in life that's finally right for it (semi-retirement, retirement). No level is required to start: we adapt to wherever you're starting from, from beginner to advanced.

The Benefits of Learning French for Seniors: Memory, Connection and Culture

Beyond the language itself, learning or improving your French at this stage of life helps keep your memory sharp and your mind active, builds social connections around a shared project, and opens the door to a new culture and way of life in the South of France. It's also a chance to bring a personal project to life: a future move to France, a family connection, a career change, or simply the wish to reconnect with a language learned long ago.

One-to-One or Small-Group French Lessons for Adults

As with all our courses, lessons are one-to-one or in very small groups (3 students maximum, for learners already travelling together), for genuinely tailored support. You can organise a stay as short or as long as you like; our learners stay for two weeks on average.

A Relaxed Language Stay in a Village in the South of France

Our courses take place in Fabrezan, an authentic village in the South of France, in a 19th-century house, with the option of homestay accommodation.
